Weekend Project - 40hz.life

10 min Kousha Nakhaei

I built 40hz.life this weekend as an exploration into the frequency-following response. Using Tone.js for sample-accurate binaural phase-locking and Three.js to map resonance via Chladni equations, it’s a grounded attempt to see if precise oscillations can nudge the mind’s signal-to-noise ratio.

It’s a work in progress; you’ll have to experience it personally to see if the math translates. It’s a single page. feel free to inspect its AI-generated code. It’s live on https://40hz.life (desktop only).

Change Log

  • v1.0.0 (Feb 7, 2026): Initial build. Desktop only. Implemented core binaural oscillators, Chladni visual mapping, and the “Laboratory” control set.
